Website Redesign in Mississauga

Replace a dated, slow or fragile website with one that works on every device, without losing the Google rankings and content you have built up.

Signs It Is Time to Redesign

A redesign is worth it when fixing the current site keeps costing more than it should.

  • It is hard to use on a phone
  • Updates keep breaking things
  • It is slow, whatever you try
  • You cannot edit it without a developer
  • It no longer matches your services or brand
  • Enquiries have dropped and you are not sure why
If it just needs a few changes, a one-off update is cheaper. If it is slow, read why your website is slow first.

A Redesign That Keeps What Already Works

The risky part of a redesign is not the new design. It is everything the old site was quietly doing: pages that rank in Google, links from other sites, forms that send enquiries to the right inbox. We start by recording all of it, so the new site keeps what works and fixes what does not.

When Coins For Anything came to us, their WooCommerce store had more than 40 plugin updates nobody dared to run. We copied the site to a test environment, ran the updates there, and confirmed they broke it. Rather than patch it, we rebuilt the store on a clean foundation and organized over 700 products with filtering, without risking the live store along the way.

Every redesign includes

  • Review of your current site and its content
  • Map of old URLs to new ones, with 301 redirects
  • Mobile-first design
  • Content migration
  • Build on a separate test site
  • Post-launch checks in Google Search Console

What We Take Care Of

SEO carried over

Page titles, descriptions and content that already rank are kept or improved, not thrown away.

Redirects

Every old URL that changes gets a 301 redirect to its closest new page.

Content migration

Pages, posts, products and images moved across and tidied up.

Test site first

The new site is built and reviewed away from your live one, so nothing breaks while customers are using it.

Works on every device

Designed for phones first, then tablets and desktops.

Fast and easy to edit

A lean build on WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce or React, with training so you can update it.

How a Redesign Works

1

Review

We go through your current site, what it ranks for and what is not working.

2

Fixed quote

An itemized quote and timeline, including content migration and redirects.

3

Design and build

Mockups for approval, then the build on a separate test site.

4

Switch over

Redirects go live with the new site, then we check forms, pages and Search Console.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Mississauga businesses ask before a redesign.

Ask Us Anything
How much does a website redesign cost?

Our websites start from $2,500, and a basic 5-page business website is typically $2,500-$5,000. Larger sites, online stores and sites with a lot of content to migrate cost more. You get a fixed, itemized quote after a free consultation, before any work begins. See how much a website costs.

Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?
It can if URLs change without redirects or pages that rank are removed. We list every page on your current site, keep the content that ranks, map each old URL to its new address with 301 redirects, and check Google Search Console for errors after launch.
Do I need a redesign or just updates?

If the site is on a platform you are happy with, works on phones and mainly needs new content or a refreshed look, updates are cheaper. A redesign makes sense when the platform is outdated, the site is slow whatever you change, or every update breaks something else.

Will my website go down during the redesign?
No. We build the new site on a separate test site while your current one stays live, and switch over once you have approved it.
Can you move my site to a different platform?

Yes. We move sites between platforms, for example from a website builder to WordPress, or onto Shopify or WooCommerce for stores. Content comes with you and old URLs are redirected. See migrating to WordPress.

How long does a redesign take?
It depends on the size of the site and how quickly content and feedback come in. You get a timeline with your quote before any work starts.
