SEO That Gets Local Customers Calling

Local SEO, technical fixes and landing pages for Mississauga and GTA businesses. We are the developers, so the fixes actually get made, not just written up in a report.

Quick Answer: Does My Business Need SEO?

If your customers search Google before they call, and most do, then yes. The question is whether your site shows up when they search for what you sell, in the area you serve.

You probably need SEO help if:

  • You do not appear when people search your main service plus your city
  • Competitors show up in the Google map results and you do not
  • Your site has one services page covering everything you offer
  • Your site is slow or awkward on a phone
  • You have never looked at Google Search Console, or do not have it set up
  • Most of your new customers come from referrals or paid ads only

SEO From the People Who Build the Website

Most SEO problems on small business sites are not mysterious. Pages have no clear topic, titles are missing or duplicated, the site is slow on mobile, important services have no page of their own, and the Google Business Profile is half finished. An audit will find these in an afternoon. The hard part is getting them fixed, because the SEO agency often cannot touch the code and the web developer is not thinking about search.

We do both. PrimaryDM is a Mississauga web development team, so when we find a problem we fix it in the site directly: redirects, page structure, schema markup, speed, internal links and new landing pages. That is the same work we do on our own site and on the sites we build for clients.

We focus on local search, because that is where most of our clients' customers come from. That means pages written for the services you actually offer and the areas you actually serve, a properly set up Google Business Profile, and a steady flow of reviews. If you are starting from scratch, our Mississauga web design projects include the SEO groundwork from day one.

Every SEO engagement includes

  • A technical audit of every page on the site
  • Fixes made directly in your site, not a to-do list
  • Keyword research based on how your customers search
  • Titles, descriptions and headings rewritten page by page
  • Landing pages for your main services and areas
  • Google Business Profile setup and optimization
  • Schema markup so Google understands your business
  • Google Search Console and Analytics set up in your name
  • Monthly plain-English reporting on calls, forms and rankings

What Our SEO Services Cover

The work that moves local rankings, done by people who can change the site themselves.

Local SEO

Google Business Profile, categories, photos, service areas, consistent business details across directories, and a simple routine for collecting reviews.

Technical SEO

Crawl errors, broken links, redirects, duplicate pages, canonical tags, sitemaps, indexing problems and structured data, fixed in the code.

Landing Pages

A dedicated page for each main service, industry and area you genuinely serve, written to answer what customers search for and built to convert.

Speed & Core Web Vitals

Image compression, font loading, script cleanup and hosting fixes so pages load fast on a phone, which Google measures and customers notice.

Internal Linking

Navigation and in-page links arranged so your most important pages get the attention, instead of being buried three clicks deep.

On-Page SEO

Titles, meta descriptions, headings and copy reviewed page by page, so each page has one clear topic and does not compete with its neighbours.

How We Approach SEO

Fix what is broken first, then build what is missing.

1

Audit

We crawl the whole site, review Search Console data and your Business Profile, and look at who ranks for the searches you want.

2

Plan & Quote

You get a prioritized list of what to fix and build, with a fixed quote. The biggest problems go first.

3

Fix

We make the technical and on-page changes directly in your site and resubmit the affected pages to Google.

4

Build

We add landing pages for the services and areas that have demand and no page yet, and improve the ones that are close to page one.

5

Report & Repeat

Monthly reports show what changed and what it did, and the next month focuses on what the data says matters most.

What Actually Moves Local Rankings

Where we spend the effort, and why.

One page per service

A single "Services" page cannot rank well for ten different things. Giving each main service its own page, with real detail about how you do it, what it costs and what customers ask, gives Google a clear page to show for each search.

Your Google Business Profile

For "near me" searches the map results often appear above the regular listings. A complete profile with the right categories, real photos, accurate hours and a steady stream of reviews is one of the highest-return pieces of local SEO.

Fewer, better pages

Dozens of near-identical pages with a city name swapped in rarely help and can drag the rest of the site down. We would rather build a handful of pages that each say something specific than a hundred that say nothing.

Speed and mobile

Most local searches happen on a phone. A slow page loses the visitor before it loads, and Google takes page experience into account. If your site feels sluggish, start with our guide to fixing a slow website.

SEO for Mississauga and GTA Businesses

PrimaryDM is based at 3466 Mavis Rd in Mississauga, Ontario. We work with businesses across Peel, Halton and the GTA, and we are happy to meet in person if you are nearby.

We build and optimize sites for local service businesses, including dentists, law firms, real estate agents and contractors, where showing up in local search is most of the game.

Why work with a local SEO team?

  • We know the Mississauga and GTA market and who you are competing with
  • Face-to-face meetings when you want them
  • Same time zone, real people, direct access to the developers
  • SEO and development under one roof, so nothing gets lost in hand-offs

SEO Services FAQs

Straight answers to what business owners ask us about SEO.

Ask Us Anything
How long does SEO take to work?
Technical fixes such as broken pages, missing titles or a slow site can show an effect within weeks of Google recrawling the pages. Ranking for competitive local searches like "web design Mississauga" or "dentist Mississauga" usually takes three to six months of steady work, and longer in crowded markets. Anyone promising first-page rankings in a few weeks is guessing or selling something short-lived.
How much do SEO services cost?
It depends on how much needs fixing and how competitive your market is. A one-time technical audit and fix-up is a fixed project price. Ongoing local SEO, which covers new landing pages, Google Business Profile work and monthly reporting, is a monthly plan. After a free review of your site we give you a fixed quote, so you know the cost before any work starts.
What is local SEO?
Local SEO is the work that gets a business found by people searching nearby: "plumber near me", "Mississauga web design", "dentist open Saturday". It covers your Google Business Profile, reviews, consistent name, address and phone details across the web, and pages on your site written for the specific services and areas you cover. For most service businesses it matters more than ranking nationally.
Do you guarantee first-page rankings?
No. Google does not let anyone guarantee rankings, and its own guidance warns against companies that do. What we commit to is the work: fixing what holds your site back, building pages that answer what your customers search for, and reporting honestly on what moved and what did not.
Can you do SEO on a website you did not build?
Yes. We work on WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace and custom sites. Because we are developers, we can make the technical changes ourselves instead of handing you a report full of recommendations nobody implements. If the platform itself is the obstacle, we will tell you and explain the options, including a move off Wix.
What is the difference between SEO and Google Ads?
Google Ads puts you at the top of results as soon as you pay, and stops when you stop paying. SEO earns unpaid placement that keeps bringing visitors, but takes months to build. Many local businesses run ads while SEO ramps up, then reduce ad spend once organic traffic arrives. We can set up both, and send ad clicks to landing pages built to convert.
Why do landing pages matter for SEO?
Google ranks pages, not businesses. If one page tries to cover every service you offer, it competes weakly for all of them. A dedicated page for each main service, and for each industry or area you genuinely serve, gives Google a clear match for each search. Each page needs to say something real and specific: near-duplicate pages with only the city name swapped tend to be ignored.
Will I be able to see what you are doing?
Yes. You get a monthly report in plain English covering what we changed, which searches you appear for, clicks from Google, calls and form submissions. You keep ownership of your Google Search Console, Analytics and Business Profile accounts, so the data stays yours if you ever leave.
Do you offer SEO outside Mississauga?
Yes. We are based in Mississauga and work with businesses across the GTA, including Toronto, Brampton, Oakville, Burlington and Hamilton, as well as Sault Ste. Marie and elsewhere in Ontario. See our service areas.
